We know that people are mortal just like any other creatures.
We know that the faces we see every day will sooner or later leave us when we least expect it.
We know death is sudden.
We know eventually we will die too.
We know that life is temporary, and the eternal day will come.
But still, why does it hurt each time our loved ones left before us?
May it be because we know that we can no longer see them even though we search for them across the globe?
Or we cannot talk to them when we needed them the most.
Who will continue to comfort us when the world seems to fail?
Who will hug us and give us comforting words each time we put ourselves in trouble?
Who will scold us when it is necessary to?
Or even, sitting side by side without uttering a single word to each other.
Truth is, it is hurtful to see the legacy of our loved ones to be forgotten.
Who will carry on to remember them other than us?
Do people care?
Even babies can sense the absence of their loved ones, let alone us as adults with developed minds.
Being a rock or a steel is easier because they do not have nerve cells, hence no feelings involved.
A human being however, is more powerful when it comes to overcoming challenges from the Lord.
It just that it is our decision whether to pity ourselves or get back up on our feet without forgetting our deceased loved ones.
I love you so much.
I hope to see you again, Insya Allah..
